Contract of sale

All items displayed for sale on the website are currently in stock. However, there will be rare occasions when breaks in supply occur. CB Furnishings reserves the right to withdraw items for sale at any time. If your website purchase coincides with a break in supply you will be contacted by CB Furnishings to inform you of the wait for delivery when it arrives back in stock or if you wish you can cancel the sale completely at this stage. If part of your order is not available, we will contact you for authorisation to make a partial delivery.

Making a purchase

When you purchase an item from the CB Furnishings online shop, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order and a unique order number. When your item has been posted, you will receive an email confirming your purchase has been dispatched. You will normally receive a confirmation of postage email within one to two working days of your order being received and processed. In the unlikely event that the postage of your item is delayed, CB Furnishings will contact you to inform you of the date on which you can expect delivery. Unless your purchase coincides with a break in supply, orders will not take more than two working days to be dispatched. Most orders are dispatched on the same or next working day. Orders placed at the weekend will normally be posted at the beginning of the following week. If you have any special requirements for postage, please contact us at the time of your order. We will be happy to try and meet these requirements.

Pricing

All prices shown on the CB Furnishings website are inclusive of VAT and in British Pounds Sterling (£ GBP). We welcome purchases from overseas and as the prices on the CB Furnishings website are displayed in pounds, your credit card company will charge you in your country’s currency at that day’s exchange rate. Local charges are not the responsibility of CB Furnishings.

We cannot be held responsible for typographical errors on this site, including but not limited to those including price. CB Furnishings reserves the right to change our terms and conditions and product and price information without any notice being given.

Packaging

We make every effort to package your items attractively, safely and securely. It is important that you retain this packaging if you want to make a return.

Postage

All items within the UK ordered online or by telephone will be posted by recorded or special delivery and therefore will require a signature on receipt. 

If your order is late, please contact us. We will issue you with its unique number to use as a tracking reference with your local sorting office or on the Royal Mail website (www.royalmail.com). We can only refund non-deliveries when the parcel is officially classified as lost by the Royal Mail. This is 15 working days after the date of delivery. If your order is urgent, we will post out a replacement, if available, but only upon receipt of payment for this item. We will then arrange for a refund if the original item has not been delivered after the 15 days has elapsed.

Quality

We want you to purchase from the CB Furnishings website with confidence. However, in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, please get in touch with us and we will attempt to put things right or arrange for a return.

Returns

We very much hope you like your purchases but if you would like to return them, please find our returns policy and procedure below.

Our returns policy

In line with distance selling regulations, we will offer a full refund, exchange or credit note for goods purchased from us online or by telephone if you cancel your purchase within seven working days from the day after you received these items. In order to make a return, please obtain a returns authorisation (RA) number from us within this timescale and follow the returns procedure below.
All returns will be quality checked by the CB Furnishings team. Please return all items in their original packaging. We reserve the right to take action against any customer for breach of their statutory duty to take reasonable care when items show signs of wear or damage.
If you return items to us outside of the statutory seven day cancellation period, we will offer you an exchange, a credit note or return the items to you. This is at the discretion of CB Furnishings.
We kindly ask that you post items back to us within seven days of the issue of your RA number.
Items must be returned at your own cost and by recorded or special delivery. Please retain your proof of postage as we do not accept responsibility for items lost in transit.
If you would like to exchange your item, we will either refund or charge for any difference in product costs.
In the unlikely event that the item you have received is faulty, please send the item back to us using the returns procedure below. If we agree there is a fault, we will provide you with a refund or exchange and refund all postage costs.
Refunds will normally be processed within one to three working days of receipt of the returned goods. In exceptional circumstances refunds may take longer but this will not exceed fifteen working days. All refunds will be credited to the card used in the original transaction.
What to do if you would like to make a return:

1. Email sales@cbfurnishings.co.uk or phone us on 01609 772916 for your returns authorisation (RA) number. To qualify for a refund, please do this within seven working days of receipt of your item(s).
2. Complete and detach the returns form enclosed with your purchases
3. Post your items back to us with the returns form by recorded or special delivery within seven days of receipt of your RA number.

Security

CB Furnishings understands that you want to shop securely and with confidence. It therefore uses an online secure payment service provider to process your card payment. This provider uses state-of-the-art internet solutions to ensure that the personal and sensitive data you provide when making a purchase from us is not compromised. The security services of this provider are among the most advanced in the country.

Data privacy

When you make a purchase, CB Furnishings collects certain information to fulfill your order. However, we are completely committed to protecting your privacy and comply with the eight guiding principles of the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not disclose customer details to any third party for marketing or other purposes unless you give us explicit authority to do so.
If you have set up an account with CB Furnishings, you are responsible for maintaining the privacy of this account and dedicated password. Please contact us immediately if you believe that your password is being used in an unauthorised manner.

Use of our website

All use of the CB Furnishings website must be lawful and not injurious to any third party. You must not copy the content or images contained within the CB Furnishings web pages for commercial purposes without the written consent of CB Furnishings. You must also not use the CB Furnishings website in any way that undermines the credibility of the CB Furnishings site or CB Furnishings.

All the conditions above do not affect your statutory rights.
